Digital Marketing

Vertigo Group specialises in Recreational Mountain Sports business with branches in Retail (incl. e-commerce); Adventure Tourism and Media.

Vertigo is interested to speak with students or recent graduates who are ACTIVE rock climbers, Hikers or Trail Runners (not negotiable) to take on the brand development, marketing (digital) and e-magazine growth of our business.

The role is flexible in nature but ideally would require in-store working in support of our retail division as well as remote options.

The ideal candidate would be well versed in digital marketing and e-commerce as well as an enthusiastic multi media creator able to travel on assignments/field trips to relevant destinations (climbing venue's, hiking venue's, trail running venue's) on occasion. Coding / dev skills would be an added bonus.

This role has not previously been filled in this capacity, so a strong strong self-starter attitude is a must. Within the company the opportunity exists to acquire certified outdoor skills (hiking & climbing) with the potential to be an in-house climbing / hiking guide. Potential exists for a variety of positions depending on the candidate - Part Time; Flexi Time; Semi Remote; Full Time; Contract and will be reviewed on a person-by-person situation.

Create a Marketing roadmap across the brands, uniting them /cross selling them utilising the following:

• Marketing: Google Ads, Meta Ads
• Instagram, Facebook, Youtube Skills
• Rock Climber / Hiker / Trail runner
• Marketing and advertising focused 
• Content creation (using existing brand media & creating in-house) 
• Adobe creative Suite, MS Office 
• Comfortable with Webflow & Shopify platforms
• Assist retail staff if needed, in-store.
