Accelerated Trad-Leader Instructional Course

Duration: Saturday & Sunday + a Friday evening

Are you a sport-climber wanting to explore the world of Trad Climbing? Are you already Trad Climbing and wanting to up your skills?

This course is a high intensity offering designed for climber’s already competently leading sport or basic trad. In essence the course takes the 4 days of MDT Multi Pitch Leader syllabus and compresses them into 1 evening of theory and 2 practical days where leading, building stances and gear placement skills are exhaustively tested. We also focus on self-rescue techniques as well as safe retreat / abseiling methodologies.

This course is ideal for:

• Climbers already leading Sport Climbs (min grade 19)
• Seasoned trad leaders who want to push themselves on the technical best practices.
