Lightweight and packable wind-stopping yet breathable shell with a semi-athletic fit. Pack the Gust Windshell for those expected windy days, or as a backup for the unexpected. Designed to fit the body snuggish-ly but not too tight to allow better movement and comfort.
A tight-woven fabric acts as a wind-resistant shell but is more breathable (and therefore less prone to causing you to overheat) than a waterproof jacket, making the Gust Windshell more practical on all but the most foul of days.
Unless a fully waterproof shell is absolutely necessary, most occassions actually call for a shell which keeps the wind chill off your (warm) torso long enough to get you to the end of your run of short hike, where you can change into dry clothes.
The Gust Windshell is NOT designed to replace a waterproof shell on long forays where being stranded out for an extended period is a possibility, but it is the most practical garment for day hikes and runs where you are not overly remote..
Normal size for athletic fit and then one size up for relaxed fit
