Learn to Ice Climb, or perfect your Ice Climbing skills at Sani Pass this July over 3 days (July 4 - July 6 2025). The price displayed is total course price (2.5 days)

Two Mountain Training Standards Certified Mountaineering Instructors will present this course to facilitate two different experience level skills courses

• a course for beginner Ice Climbers, wanting to learn the basics
• a course for those climbers who have already experienced Ice Climbing and wish to learn more advanced techniques

Accomodation Options

The climbing is easily accessed by all of these. Camping is directly at the climbing (but exposed to high mountain weather and temperatures). The backpacker & chalet options are a mere 35min flat walk away with the advantages of warm, communal cooking area's and warm showers (usually).

Ice Climbing in The Drakensberg requires high mountain equipment as well as specialised ice climbing equipment.
